Out of all the change, growth, challenge, and personal development that has evolved over time, the one thing we knew was that we wanted to do something to evolve the Coaching profession. 

We asked ourselves the toughest questions we could, and then we set out to design a model specific coaching school where the answer was YES to each and every question.

The result was the School of Shadow Coaching™.

We launched the school in Canada in 2004

So What Now?

Now, due to popular demand, it's time to take the training on the road.   So we've put together a special satellite training for people we know will value the experience of learning, growth, insight and shared meaning.

Who is the training not designed for?   

This training is progressive and collaborative in nature, rich in content yet complemented by weaving in the thinking and experience of those attending.  Given the progressive focus of this training, we are guessing that the following types of coaches would not find the training to be a high-value experience:    

• Coaches who believe there is only 'one way' to coach
• Coaches who would prefer that the traditional formats and processes of coaching remain as they have been
• Coaches uncomfortable with a collaborative-type format

Donna Karlin, certified Executive Coach, has pioneered the specialized practice of Shadow Coaching™ with over 120 senior organizational leaders in the public and private sectors and is committed to catalyzing individual and collaborative leadership capacity.

By entering the client’s environment, she works with them in translating awareness into practice, essentially fostering the emergence of the Shadow Coach™ in the clients themselves.  Donna uses an adaptable and comprehensive approach in working with her clients. She uses a unique structure that enables her to understand individuals and their worlds sufficiently to design coaching that shifts their developmental level. Her coaching attends to the individual, social, relational and environmental aspects of her client's ‘world’. It is an integral approach that results in the client developing a deeper, more comprehensive sense of themselves and their place in their organization and the world as a whole. Through her unique approach, Donna works with the clients to achieve individual and organizational excellence.
